Suspension work

I had my friend do some suspension work for me this week. I finely put in the new take-off shocks, struts and front sway bar from a 2007-8 GT500. I had bought this stuff a year and a half ago. See thread (https://www.cmoc.ca/d-i-y-articles-1...base-v6-18256/ ) I also used some stock springs from a 2009 Bullitt that I found on another forum. I picked them up in the US when I was down in North Carolina in March. I bought the Upgraded Ford Racing GT500 Style Strut Mounts from AM. Everything went in without a hitch. The Mustang height sat at 29" top of rear wheel well and 28 1/2 on the front wheel well before the change. After the change it is now sitting at 28 3/4 for back and front at the wheel wells. Lowering the back by 1/4" and raising the front by 1/4", this worked out fine as after I replaced the stock 16" rims and tires with the 18" it would rub if I made a tight turn. That fixed it. I also had a front end alignment done, everything is in line now. I find that the ride is a little stiffer but the best part is that it drives like it is on rails and turns on a dime. I have the stock end links on for now, I'll pick some beefier ones up later. So as it stands I have 2007-8 new take offs GT500 34mm front sway bar, shocks and struts. 2009 Bullitt #6438 22mm rear sway bar, springs front and rear. New upgraded Ford Racing GT500 Style Strut Mounts.

Bit the bullit and purchaced the MMD Convertible Wind Deflector this weekend from AM. It was on sale and I got another $10.00 off because I spent over $200.00

It's almost done. Just a couple more small things.

Bought the BMR Panhard bar from ChadStang to go with the rest of the work I have been doing. Now I need some new heavy duty end links, the factory ones aren't cutting it since the suspension work. They now clunk! I have been looking at these from AM, but they are out of stock.

SR Performance Mustang Adjustable Front Sway Bar End Links 53156 (05-14 All) - Free Shipping In US only, In Canada Shipping and Duty is extra.

I found these on eBay and they look to be the very same ones at a lot lower price.

ON CAR Adjustable Aluminum Sway BAR END Links 2005 2013 Mustang GT V6 GT500 | eBay

Just wondering if I should go with the ones from eBay? I'll save about $80.00 CDN and I don't have to wait for them to be in stock. But are they the same with just another label attached? I'm thinking it's a no brainier if they are.

I'll be putting on the panhard bar when I get a set of end links.

Yes AP, as always pictures to follow.

That’s just amazing, I have been waiting for a few weeks for AM to get the End Links I want. I even sent them an e-mail asking when they would be in and got no response. This morning I start a thread in a couple of Mustang forums about them not in stock and thinking about buying some off eBay. They sent me an e-mail saying they are now in stock and I can now order them. I think the ones on eBay are the one in the same, so I will probably buy off eBay and save some money. Things that make you go Hmmmm.
