Need info on importing from USA

Hey, anyone know if you have to pay the state tax on a used car in the states? I am looking at a couple - one in Ohio and one in Michigan. I found all the other information on import fees and taxes in Canada but can't find a clear answer on whether I have to pay their tax on it as well. Any help and website links would be greatly appreciated!:biggrin:

There's worse things to do than drive a Mustang across the country - especially if it's not yours!!!

I'd check the wheel wells for shredded rubber though.

I didnt have to pay taxes on my car when I bought it in Nevada.

What are you looking at buying?

Thanks for the info - I am looking at a 2006 Mustang GT coupe. I have found a local one and hope if everything works out, the deal will be finalized next week. I will be sure to post pictures later on. Thanks for everyone's advice.
