Check the owners manual if you have it?

Use the recommended grade. My preference is full synthetic.

Mine uses 6 liters, your will probably take 5.

Cheers!

i use mobil 1 10w30. i use 6-7 liters. what engine do you have?
just read your owners manual if you still have it.
synthetic is more$$ but you can wait longer in between oil changes

For a run of the mill GT, conventional oil will due just fine, if you drive a lot, then consider synthetic. A GT holds 4.5-5L of oil. How many kms?, I'd run a 10w30/40 oil, my preference is Castrol, DO NOT use a Fram filter.

It's really up to you, I use 10w40 Castrol GTX in my '88 5.0 with 230kms, I use 5w30 Castrol Syntec in my '98 Cobra, I have had no problems with either car, the Cobra gets babied, the GT gets DRIVEN, good luck and welcome!

Hey Man, I've got a 97 GT with 79,000 kms. and it takes roughly 5 litres. I've used Quakerstate Peak Performance 5W30 oil for the last 4 years with no problems. I change it every 5 to 6,000 kms and it still looks new!!!

Enjoy the Ride!!!
