Ask for two 02 sensor bungs as well, so we can weld them into your downpipes, and put my wideband on to tune it...

Don't sweat it man... it'll come together and when it does it'll be worth it.

I'm hoping that selling my 86 motor for the complete amount I PMd him with will allow me to buy everything else that I need to finish her off.

Don't take this the wrong way (the internet always seems to find a way to) but its against NHRA rules to mount anything in the fuel delivery system against the firewall. Those rules are those for a reason, and the latest rules state the only lines allowed near the fenderwells are steel braided ones.

Its alright to mount it to the fenderwell area, I just don't want your nickname to end up being 'crispy scones' in the future!

I had a friend named Corey with a 10 sec. capri and his was mounted there. If I can't mount it on the firewall or the fenderwell, where would you suggest?

Thats why I posted the above in my last post, I guess somehow you missed this.

I had friends that did lots of things that were wrong too.... I tried to learn from it though! Seriously as noted in my first post I am only pointing out what NHRA wants for a reason, even if you don't race it is still fully logical.

If you have to dig out some old magazines or search the net, there you'll find a million ways to do it the right way. Heres one for example:

Sorry, was a little confused because of this line....my lines obviously aren't steel braided. Didn't take offence either, I'd hate to finally get to the track and not be allowed to run because I can't pass tec.

Did another little bit on the car today. One of the easiest upgrades I've ever done actually. Pulled off the passenger side kick panel, still had some sound deadner in the way (how'd I miss that ?), so yanked that out. 1 7mm bolt to get the eec out of it's mounting harness, a 10mm bolt to get the eec out of the wiring harness, put the DA1 in, bolted it all back up and done....musta taken 5 minutes total.

It has to do with the rare chance that your flywheel explodes and a piece comes up and rips through your fuel line. Just mount it like the above pic and it will be fine, looks like you have enough hose to do that. P.S that makes me feel old I know the original owner of Corey's car.

Hmm, don't think mine would work there, I've got a bunch of wiring I'd have to move even if I wanted to put it there, unlike the SN95s, there seem to be a llot less space betweem the shock tower and firewall, so if I put mine there it might interfere with the hood closing brackets, not to mention my rubber lines would now be running across my downpipe which I think is a worse iidea than on the firewall.

One option that I had considered was mounting on the underside of the sway bar brackets, and running my rubber lines to the bottom of the steel fuel return line. My worry there is that istead of being right there at the return connector off the regulator that my 12:1 fuel increase will "lag" if you know what I mean.

Any other thoughts or suggestions would be helpful, as I don't want to end up Crispy Scones

Can't you make up a mounting bracket that can mount to the strut tower and just space it away from the firewall a couple inches? At least it will be off the firewall and still be legal for tech. Are you gonna be using a manual rack now? Also, if you need some O2 bungs-I usually use tie rod jam nuts, if you need some lemme know.
