Will be starting the TT build-up soon, so I thought I'd start the thread in here.

I got the hotside stuff in a deal from Jeff Caroll at www.ponydown.net
These are pics of his hotside stuff he made for me. They came uncoated (which I expected) but he tossed in a set of header bolts and a tube of High Temp RTV Silicone Gasket Maker called Ultra Copperwhich I didn't expect.

This is only his Stage 1 Kit. If you are interested in going turbo check out his site and see some of his other amazing products.

I am using a buddies webspace to host these pics, but he's almost out of room. Does anyone know an easy to use free site that I can use to upload pics of my other parts? And the pics of the install

To answer your question, your internet service provider should allot you some webspace where you can upload everything on your own... I've never seen a company that doesn't give you atleast 5-10 MB. I think there's also Photobucket, but I've never used it myself.

here's pics of Kenne Bell 12:1 FMU and a low mile 88 DA1 computer. My 86 eec actually has more aggresive set-up and is better naturally aspirated, but with the boost i'm gonna play on the safe side with 88 which is already set up for E7 heads, bigger upper and TB...

Should have pics of the injectors, and T3s in the next week or two

Oh and all the oil lines and fittings as well.

Anyway, here's FMIC I should have used this season as a bottom mount. I have a two into 1 which will work better with pump gas due to the fact it's HUGE, or I may try selling/trading it for a wideband sensor, as well as a really nice SAAB FMIC which I've found doesn't fit as well as I was told, mostlikely due to being a 4 eyed front end.

The only thing I didn't like about Jeff's work on my downpipes (prolly caused by the rush I had him under, and it's nothing a little careful grinding can't fix

So there are pics of the insides of each of the wastegate housings.

is there any way you can get inside those parts there and get rid of the slag and small bits of steel sticking out in the inside?? won't that disrupt air flow (slight i know..but better flow is always a plus) plus what happens if a piece or 2 of that steel comes off and gets sucked into a turbo :cry2: ... maybe you plan to do it... just wondering, interested in seeing the rest of this go together

I would leave them and have them coated. Grinding the welded down will weaken it. I did the same thing on my car hehe.

Use a grinder and one of those metal sanding wheels from CT. It workes much better then a grinder wheel

Never said I was going to use a grinder....nor did I say I was going to grind the welds. I'm going to use a grinding bit I use for porting things like stock headers to clean up the welds inside wastegate housing. If you look closesly there is even a 1 inch piece of welding wire sticking off of one of welds inside the housing. Not to mention that the housings are also welded completely around on the outside so anything I do inside is safe, and I'm just making them safer.

I hope that didn't come across as rude, but what you said made me feel like/look like a dumb dumb to someone who has no idea about this kind of stuff.
