Looking for some stuff to make a firewall pad for my 67, and can't justify blowing over $100 for it. I'll probably be throwing some under it's future carpet anyways. Anyone know where I can find some of this stuff locally? Nobody in Guelph/Kitchener/Cambridge is very helpful at all.. I know where I won't be shopping in the future!

You could probably find heat resistant insulation from an aviation company. Try Leavens Aviaton Inc. in Mississauga. If they don't have it they'll tell ya where to get it.

DYNOMAT ( dynoliner-series ) from a stereo shop ......I would get a price for how much you need......but it is 97% heat reflective....so would work for your firewall...and it doesn't look too bad either...can be used to dress up the engine compartment
