1965 Mustang GT Fastback

Hi: I just purchased a 1965 Mustang GT Fastback and it could use a paint job. There are just a few spots of rust near the rear window and a few spots where the paint has started to peel. Does anyone know of a paint shop in Missisauga that has experience working on classics? Would you know roughly what a paint job would cost?

Thanks
Walter

Depends Walter. I can paint it in the driveway for $100 with a spray bomb. Seriously though, tough question to answer, you could spend $100 or you could spend $10,000. It's not like buying tires, where a tire has a set cost, plus or minus a few dollars depending on where you buy it. A buddy of mine used to be in the business, and how good paint goes depends on how much prep work there is, time is money when it comes to paint. A lot of times when they start working, there will be discovery work that can add on to the original cost. Each case is unique, so to try and tell you what your cost would be is pretty difficult. I'd say ballpark at least $5000 for a complete re-spray.
