i put mine in my bathtub with shampoo and used the shower head.
It cleaned it a bit. but found it made it a bit fuzzy..

you haven't tried the dishwasher yet? or oven?LOL

any idea if they sell a liner for a 2002 mustang, something that looks nicer than the stock one? A friend of mine had a stainless steel liner made (for a show card), but it didn't clear the hood closing, so he had the underside painted to a high gloss black.

your only option there is to buy a factory one and recover it....or simply recover your stocker

my factory hood liner looked like after 6 years and only 16,500 kms....maybe 50kms driven in the rain....stored winters

bought a new one last year (I think it was around $130) and had the embossed pony airbrushed.....this season I'm swapping the whole hood, so no more blanket

but one of my buddies on the show circuit covered his with interior (trunk grade) carpet.....added a stainless running pony too....turned out very nice.
