Water in interior

I recently spent a rainy weekend driving to vancouver and back and when I got home I reached behind the passenger seat and lo and behold the carpet is just soaked.Took a towel and hair dryer and a wet dry vacuuming to get all the moisture, now I have a coupe so no leakage there but anybody have a clue where the hell this water came from, windows are still sealing as well.

My '97 does this. I've never been able to figure it out.

Give us more details. Convertible? Spoiler? Any mods? Trunk seals in place?

Yeah it's a 2013 coupe with a factory spoiler did actually check the seals plus did dislodge some tree droppings even checked the window seals on the quarter windows and they seem to fine now is coming from underneath I don't know but if it happens again off to the dealer and see if there's a crack in the body underneath or has a plug or something like that come out

Is the water on the front carpet as well? It probably has the water leak that is common to the s197's.
If you pop the hood and look up by the firewall you will find 2 rubber gromet things that are probably plugged, the same thing happened to my stang being I park it outside all the time and they got plugged with leaf stuff. I just pulled them out and could not believe how much water came out of there. I'll try to find a pic.

No the fronts seem to be fine plus it's only on the passenger side thanks for the tip on the grommets on the firewall I will check that in the morning won't hurt to check are they on the upper or lower part of the firewall
