I have used a Ford Motorsports King Cobra Clutch. I liked the feel of it.

ok, this place says Valeo made the ford motorsports king cobra clutch, but they don't say it is the same clutch.
price just seems good for a kit including disk, plate, release bearing, pilot bearing, cable and quadrant. maybe too good?

that's kinda what I was thinking, but Valeo makes decent o.e. parts. at least for other cars. I'll look into the motorsports clutch.

Veleo makes the FRPP stuff as well as the OE stuff. The King Cobra will be made by Valeo. The king cobra is a great entry level set, I've gone 10's with it. I found the pedal pressure too much for a daily driver... my preference is the Centreforce stuff for a lighter pedal. Look into Zoom or the Spec entry level stuff too.

Cheers, Sean

B4 U buy, ask lots. Clutch packs can make you love driving your car, or hate it. Nothing worse than spending money, only to hate it. If you've ever been at a light, and your knee starts shaking (long day, hard work, tight clutch, etc.) then LISTEN to SeanU. He is correct in saying that the centerforce is much lighter on the pedal than others. Race ready cars (non street legal) it don't matter, your leg shakes waiting for the tree anyway!

Again, My $.02

thanks for the opinions. I will be looking elsewhere. I have a feeling the clutch they are selling is just a remaned valeo anyway.
I don't want a heavy pedal. car will be driven daily in summer.
