3.7 v6 turbo

there are a few of us out there, so thought I'd post this.
400rwhp @ 5psi sounds impressive, but I believe the tubing is a bit messy

Wow, it has an endorsement from somebody at UPR ... that's a good sign.

You're approaching the cost of a GT by the time you get a V6 and this kit plus the other supporting parts.

cheers

I think that a 3.7 car would be a blast with this kit installed. I'd like to try one.

^^^ Me too. Modding v6's are fun. Its a WHOLE different feel than the v8. I will say, however, that the v6 world is EXPENSIVE and gains are marginal compared to v8's with the same modifications. It's DEF fun .. but you'd better bring your wallet (or purse - thats a shout out to you Red Pony).

Agreed, I learned about that with the T-Bird Super Coupe. It was fun listening to the 20% OD blower spin up though!

cheers

It would be nice to see someone put together a P.D. (preferably a TVS) blower kit for the 3.7 Mustang.

fast Ed, I know what you mean about that sound...the MP-90 on my 4.0 V6 SCREAMS.

Edit: Crap...I just realized how old this thread is. I gotta stop by more often.

I know we are all ford guys here, but i owned many l67 supercharged 3.8l v6 grand prix gtps. Heavily modified many of them and made crazy power.
i knew many people running 500hp turbo set ups that got 35mpg as well!
It is a totally different feeling than v8 for sure.

Have lots of respect for people getting the results they do in the 6 cylinder world

Most likely my interest only:
CFM turbo is getting close,
http://www.facebook.com/fastyellowmustang
They turned up the boost to 12psi and got 446hp/506tq, 10.89 in the quarter. But they will be selling the kit at 8psi or below I believe.
