Pauls High Performance brought a V6 stang to the V6 Ford Challenge this weekend in Michigan. It was a stock V6 motor with underdrive pullies, cold air kit, JBA headers, poly motor mounts, SCT tuning and a 75 HP shot of nitrous. It ran 13.9 ALL MOTOR and a best of 12.8 on the spray. It should run mid 12's with more practice driving it, this was its first time to the track since the tune.

Yeah that is awesome, them 05s aren't some lightweight!!! Them new 05 V6s have forged H beam rods and stuff from the factory too... not sure what they are running for pistons but I think just cast. I'd love to get a '05 V6 and turbocharge it. Long as you kept the A/F safe [a tad rich], made sure to run race fuel [Sunoco 104 no lead] and went easy on total timing [so that cylinder pressure at low RPMs isn't throught he roof] I bet you could get the cast pistons to live to 15 PSI. That would be some BIG power output. Esp TQ

Wow, I didn't know that. It's a good idea to run a bottom end like that
