Reseting Motorcraft TPMS

Hey new to CMOC, anyone in Barrie, that has a Motorcraft TPMS19 Remote Tire Pressure Sensor? I put new tires on my 2007 GT Mustang and need the tool to recalibrate, or can you buy from Ford Dealer? Thanks

Welcome, why not just drop in to the Ford Dealer and ask them to help you out? I agree with Ray, whoever installed the new tires should have looked after it you would think.

Welcome to CMOC. I have one, but you would have to drive about three hours to get here. Like Ray say's, find a local shop.

Thanks, I will call a shop on Monday, I bought the tires and rims privately so I am just feeling it out! I know the reset procedure, I was just thinking of buying the reset sensor myself. , I'm just weighing the price of a shop or buy the tool? Turns out I'm going to have to go into the shop to get the wheels rebalanced! I have some vibrations around 80km and 110km.

Well, if you buy the tool, then you'll always have it.

You can usually buy the tool from the dealer, but they are have been on backorder for several months. So your local store may or may not be able to sell you one at this time.

cheers

Does anybody know if the Ford TPMS Programmers will work across different models or years even? A friend of mine has a 2018 Mustang EcoBoost and is getting new sensors for winter wheels. I have a TPMS programmer that I bought for my 2012 and will let him use it so he doesn't have to buy a new tool if he doesn't have to. Anyhow does anyone know if it will work?

They changed the sensors in 2015 so I'm thinking it probably wont work. The newer ones sometimes learn on their own without training the sensors.
