I don't know if the ones from AM work the same as the ones I got or not, but I would think that they would have everything set before shipping them out. With mine, there was a programmer that either reads and stores the stock sensor codes (if available), or generates a new code. The new sensors are then plugged into the programmer and loaded with the codes, and then installed and married to the computer.

I posted above that mine were EZ Sensors...that was wrong...mine were Smart Sensors. There are so many brands and styles out there, it isn't funny. Some (I'm told) will automatically be picked up by the car's computer (after you trigger them with the tool you have) after 40-50 Kms of driving. You would think AM would use something like this for ease of use and less customer concerns.

I see one of the reviews on AM's site says that the sensors someone got were OEM Ford parts...you say the ones you got are different than the ones they have now. The only thing I can suggest is to find out which brand you have (31 Inc, Schrader, OEM Ford, etc), and go to that company's website for more info.

When you trigger/set the sensors to the car, do you get 1 or 2 quick beeps from the car? IIRC, 1 beep means the car recognizes the sensor, and 2 means no. If you get 1 beep, maybe you just need to put some miles on the car before the light goes out...

I have no idea what brand they are. When I took them to the dealer they where in boxes. When I picked the car back up, all I got back was the reset button. I had to ask for the tpms's from my rims to get them back. I just tried to reset them again and I get one beep when I trigger them. What AM says to do is, turn key on thre times and leave on. push brake peddle once.Turn key off and turn key on three more times. horn beeps once. train tires LF beep, RF beep, RR beep, LR beep dash says training complete. Start car and the light comes right back on. I even let all the air out of the tires and let sit 10 minutes before inflating them to 32 lbs. Did the retrain and still getting the light.

It sounds like the car is recognizing the sensor (1 beep), so the light should go out...have you tried taking it for a drive? I've been told sometimes it takes 40kms or so and the light will go out. It might be worth a try if you haven't yet.

I guess I have been a little slack on the motivational posts lately. Been busy with my other hobby of buying, selling and hoarding. I did come across a very rare prototype phone that could end being a one of a kind. I'll post that in the other thread I started awhile ago.

Just because it's slow around here.

I still haven't got the TPMS issues fixed yet. Beginning to **** me off. Other then that the Mustang is working good. With these hot days lately. I drive with the top down and the air on. I have the vents pointed toward me on high.

So see I'm still here, Just whoring around on other forums looking for information on my oddball finds.

Big Thanks goes out to joez ryde for sending me his TPMS's for my car. He sent them out to me even before I paid him for them. Goes to show you that there are still trusting people out there.

Thanks again Joe.
