75mm or 70mm?
 

I have a catback, and intake
I am going to get things like pulleys, H or X (catted)
Simple things
But I am also going to get a Plenum and TB
I was told, unless you are planning on heavy mods, just to get the 70MM TB and Plenum, not the 75MM TB as I would loose some bottom end?
Just wondering what you guys think I should go with...
I didnt think the difference between the 2 would matter and thats why I was going to go 75MM as its the same price...

Go with the 70MM,it is plenty.Matter of fact,the stocker is plenty unless you have big plans down the road.

if the price isnt different do the 75, but if the 75 is more money then do the 70 really no big deal.

I actually removed the turbo kit after a while in the summer. Didn't enjoy the car with it. Blower for me.

I do not regret removing.

Dude are you serious? you removed your turbo to put on a blower??
What size turbo did you have?
And what style blower do you want...?

I would junk my blower for a turbo any day! Im loosing 80% HP from the damn belt :banghead:

I think a T76 should would be a lot more better!

I would buy a tuner before a tb mod if it were me.
You'll get much more out of a tuner (with a good tune of course) and then once you start adding mods down the road you can use the tuner to factor in those new parts and make even more hp.

If you have your heart set on a new TB it's just as well to go 75 and do it once.
That way if you ever go forced induction you will have a tb that maximizes the hp/tq increase potential.

One thing you should be aware of though with this mod.

Disconnect the battery for 45 mins to an hour to erase the kam (keep alive memory). You will want to do this so that when you complete the swap and start the car the computer will start to learn the new settings from the tps.
If you don't do this you most likely will experience what is called "hanging throttle" during idle.

Taking the tps from the stock tb will be a pain in the ass. The 2 screws that hold it on are on there like a mf'er. Most need an impact wrench to get them off but you may be lucky.

After you complete the swap start the car and leave it running for 15 mins.
If there are no leaks and the tps was connected in the range then you should not experience anything negative and you will notice improved throttle response when you push the gas while driving.

If you do experience "hanging throttle" then you need a voltmeter and will have to slacken off the 2 tps screws, move the tps until the volt meter reads in the correct range (don't have the proper numbers here but google it and you should find it easily) and that should take care of it.
