Hey guys I was wondering if anyone here runs an oil catch can on there 2v motors. I have been thinking about ordering one up I think it could make a difference on my car it has alot of miles and smoking abit. Also with multiple brands out there any recommendations ?

From what I've read they are good to have even on a new car. I am looking at one for mine and when I get one will go with JLT.

Is this something the dealership will install, or do you need to do it yourself? I'm just worried about the whole warranty thing...

I've never even considered 1 what are the benefits?

From what I understand it's a pretty easy install. I think the JLT is basically plug and play. I can't see it causing any warranty issues.

Many people swear by just a air compressor hose filter

In-Line Oil & Water Separator | Princess Auto

Hard to beat the price. I have one from Princess Auto and it pulls oil vapour from my crossover quite well.

I have been thinking about ordering the jlt one because of where it installs. I like the look of the moroso catch can but with my coil packs I would have no where to install it using the stock hoses.

Huh .... now I'm considering one.

I did this to my GT years ago, and still using it today. Works awesome. I made my own with a Husky oil/ water seperator, some 3/8 rubber fuel line, and some hose clamps. Cost me half the cost aswell.
