If you can get a good deal on a Roush cai it is a great quality piece.
I loved mine on the old car. It fit the stock tb and accepted up to a 75mm.

Tha tube was a kind of flexible composite and didn't absorb engine heat as much as metal.
The filter ran into the fenderwell as well.
When you buy a CAI....like most things in life....you get what you pay for.

Good Luck on whatever you choose.

Stock set up is way more restrictive than any CAI, not to mention my fendermount MAC sounds great...And yes, they look great too!
I know I "felt" like I gained HP, car sounds better and sounds neat too, which gives the false impression of HP gain. Only way you'll get any real gains is if you get a tune along with it.

Why not going with the JLT Ram air or Cold Air Intake ?
It's 4", in PCV and you can have it painted to match your car color.
I had one on my 4.6 and I've one on my 5.4. really worth it !

I would have gone JLT if I didn't get a steal of a deal on my TUNABLE INDUCTION by DEMOLET.

You will gain HP not noticeably, but if you have exhaust it will make a difference, it would be like trying to breathe through a straw without a good intake.

I have a WMSRacing intake. It hooks up to the factory rubber and in my opinion is way more restrictive then the BBK. I bought the car with this on.
