keep the cats, it far out-weighs the fine you'd get if you got caught without them.

I thought that after a car was 20 years old in Ontario that you did not have to do the e test? I have not lived there for over 5 years so maybe that changed. I ran mine with MAC longtubes and there high flow catted h pipe. The car always passed.

It's has been changed a few years back.Any vehicle from 1988 to newer (5 years old from new) will always need to be e tested.1987 and older vehicles will always be out.But that can change again LOL!

Well that is so typical. I have to admit that i was very happy to move back home. My 94 t bird has a true custom 2.5" dual exhaust with an x pipe, magnaflows and no cats. It sounds great and no worries about being busted. The other thing that i was glad to not have to deal with is the over 50kph speeding! Although you guys are in the auto heartland, you have people who want to kill it.

That's one's easy enough - stay off the gas and drive the speed limit. Problem solved!! :lol

Just as clarification to the emissions rule, 87 and under there are no etests required, BUT you car still has to be equiped with the same emissions gear as it did stock (so smog pump, cats ect...) the fine for not having cats is like 600$ + the cost of getting pipes with cats after, and you gotta hope they don't tow/impound your car on the spot.
