Ditch the 4.6?
 

I was just kickin the idea around of doing a 5.8 swap into my 04GT i already have one thats built.No idea of the HP but its ample atleast 400
what would be needed to throw an old school engine in my car i heard the 94-95 wiring harness is to be used or is there an aftermarket ignition set up i can use i probably wont do this but lets just say for information sake.
i have no problems with any fitting and fabricating but electrical isnt my best friend.thumb:

Look for a '94/'95 donor for the k member,fuel lines,possibly the gas tank(not sure on that one),engine wiring/computer,gauge cluster,ects....might be a few oddsand ends i missed.
Then for the rest go aftermarket for what is ment for the pushrodded '94/'95.thumb:

if you already have a 5.8 then it makes sense to put that in... i keep dreaming of a 5.4 out of a lightning...

cool i was just kickin around idea's for now she'll stay 4.6 untill this engine goes boom. And the deed is 100% in my name only 400 more easy payments of $525 per month LOL
Im at that point with the car that nothin comes easy and cheap so i dont really know what mod to buy next
