Would someone be kind enough to tell me the advantage of buying a newer and bigger MAF?? I'm not pushing anything for HP numbers so is it even worth investing in now?

 

I wouldn't waist my money at this time....
Your stock MAF still has a little room to grow! When you start doing H/C/I's bigger TB and forced induction then your going to need a larger MAF.
But on a stock vehicle you wont ever PEG it at the 5.0 volts.
