Spacers

I am confused about these spacers I have been reading about
There are intake/plenum spacers
Throttle body spacers
Which one is the best?
Can you run both?
What about a throttle body (70mm)
Which would you guys recommend and what combinations can be run?
:)

Hard to say really which one is the best.If you add one between the upper plenum, and lower intake, you will be giving the same effect as an aftermarket upper plenum in some ways,by raising the roof of the plenum to give more plenum volume, which is the cheap way of doing things. That is what i did,i ported my upper, then added the spacer instead of buying an aftermarket upper.
Noticable gains, maybe, but i did notice better throttle responce, and better upper rpm responce at WOT.
As for the throttle body spacer.Haven't heard to many guys with this mod, basically you are extending the length of the tunnel portion (if you will) of the upper plenum which some feel is what you do not want to do,reason why most aftermarket plenums are equal in length in comparison to the stocker plenum,or shorter in length.

i have a TB spacer and really i don't know if there is much a diff. i put it on like 3 days after i bought the car so i can't really notice a difference cause i didn't have it stock for too long, my uncle which is my mustang guru and mech of like 40 yrs says it really doesn't make much a diff. at all it adds a cool sound to it though kinda like your supercharged lol but your not so just makes you want one more
