Do I really need a programmer???

I have a 2005 GT. Last summer I installed a Zex kit and I ran with a 125 shot. This summer I want to run with a 175 shot. My mechanic said I would need a SCT programmer to make it easier on my engine. At over $400 I want to make sure that it will do the job.

Thanks.

I am suprized you did not get one for 125 shot, you should invest in one. Especially on a 2005 GT, you will get more gains.

I bought your system for my 2005 Mustang GT last summer. I ran 125hp all
summer. I upgraded my sparkplugs. I wanted to run at 175hp. Everything on my
engine is stock except the plugs will it be safe? Should I buy a
SCT/Diablo/Predator programmer? Or do anything else...
Thank you
Danny Bouchard

Hi Danny

Yes. With the spark plugs upgraded it will be fine.

For more information about any other ZEX product, please feel free to
contact ZEX at 1-888-817-1008 or visit our web site at www.zex.com

The SCT stuff will not only make your car safer on the spray but will likely make more power on the spray and you can also have an engine tune that will also pick the car up!
