Ford Racing CAI
I am thinking of installing a ford racing cold air kit and would like some input from anyone who has installed one as to ease of installing and tuning. We have a 2007 GT/CS we are going to install 4:10 gears also any info greatly appreciated.

As far as I know there is nothing wrong with the frpp cai itself. That being said one thing to keep in mind is if you buy a JLT or C&L cai (the two most popular) from one of those tuners with a tuner and tune as a package you can save some coin. |
If I were you I would buy the Ford Racing CAI without the tuner it comes with because it is sold with or without the pro-cal.
It is a top notch quality piece and looks factory (actually it is on the bullit). Then get a ex-cal 3 tuner or whatever and download a tune to cover the maf size and you are set. Then you have a tuner still that is useful for so many others things (gears, tire size, other tunes, etc..). |
