Torque setting on crankshaft pully.
I'm changing the underdrive pulleys on my 4.6 and was wondering what the torque would be on the crankshaft pulley?
Thanks |
I believe the torque spec for the drive belt pulley is 19 ft-lb.

19?.... If I recall it's something like 90ft lbs then an additional 180 degrees or something like that. Also make sure you use a new bolt. Make sure you find out the exact numbers.

I was off on my numbers. Here is the correct method.
1. Torque bolt to 66 lb-ft. 2. Loosen bolt one full turn 3. Torque bolt to 37 lb-ft. 4. Tighten bolt an additional 90 degrees. |
