'05 Mustang Takes 1st in Grand-AM Cup Series Cali Race
The 05 Mustang GT with a 5.0 Cammer just took first in the California race. Was a pretty awesome race, the Mustang did great! :tup
Bah haha. I just found out that this happened on April 2nd :banghead: but I guess it's the first TV showing.
FONTANA, Calif. (April 02, 2005) -- In a thrilling California 200 at California Speedway, Gunnar Jeannette in the No. 05 Multimatic Motorsports Ford Mustang took advantage of a Lap 65 restart to take the lead from Darren Law in the No. 6 Zoom Motorsports Porsche 996 and led the remaining seven laps en route to the first Grand-Am Cup Series overall victory for himself and co-driver James Gue (SPEED Channel, April 16, 12:00 Noon ET).
Next race is going to be at Laguna Seca on the 29th-30th of April.
