Right now the car has a Vortech S-Trim SC, AFM Power Pipe, Methanol Injection (installed, didn't get it tuned for so it's disabled), Lightning MAF, 42# injectors.
Stock I made 260rwhp/260rwtq and blown with those mods I made 419rwhp and 378rwtq.

The torque numbers might be off by a bit but it's around that.

Why stroked? Something different. Is it not worth going for it?

you can break the engine in out of boost with the tune you currently have in the computer. Anything after that, and you should have it done on the dyno to make sure everything checks out. Boost is a measure of restriction, and the extra cubes will take more air to fill them, so your boost will likely drop. However, the engine / blower is still moving the same amount of air, just doesn't show on the boost gauge because the combo is more efficient.

Strokers work great. I was just curious why you had your eye on one.

I've wanted one since I saw the 5.0 Cammer haha

That plus big bores are expensive due to the sleeves.

Cammer is a big bore, not a stroker ;)

Bigbore isn't much more than a stroker because you can reuse your crank. :)

Yeah I know it's a big bore, but it's a 5.0 DOHC and that's just awesome.

I can reuse my crank if my bearings didn't fuse to it... haha. I'm not looking forward to seeing the damage.

would you not still be able to reuse it?
would just have to get the journals (SP?) machined...
thats just how i read it once, could be wrong though.

Hmmm........ Rollin', in my Five point OH!

You are changing the airmass/cylinder, which changes many variables. You should get a tune. Also, depending on compression ratio compared to stock you will need certain parameters changed

Around 10psi this car should be making 430-450rwhp
