D'Sousa Performance

I'm interested in checking out their website, but it appears to be acting funny.

Can someone else check for me?
http://www.dsousaperformance.com/

Does anyone have contact information for these guys?

Do you have a POP UP blocker?

It opens in a new window for me... you also need the flash player plug-in.

Cheers

Wont work in in Mozilla. Switch it IE 5.0+ and it will let you in.

Phone Number is 1-416-258-7223.

I hear the build great NA engines. I would also check out Paul Dasilva and Beaty and woods. All have good reputation in the buiness for building shorblocks.

AIRRIDE 11-06-2004 08:26 AM

The site works for me,you should also check out PSP(Paul Silva Performace)they are doing our shortblock. They do good work.

modularman 11-06-2004 09:14 AM

Psp

Paul does good work, but he's still do the same thing as 15 years ago.
Things have changed, cams are alot different today than 15 years ago.
Paul needs to step into 2005 and get updated. He hasn't done anything inpressive in years.YET he is a nice guy and does good work.

The motors that he builds STILL make big power,as long as it makes power and stays together thats all it counts. And streetable.

toofast4u 11-06-2004 10:10 AM

????

Stretable is easy, making big power-that depends who you ask.
Staying together???????he's had alot of motors snap, fresh motors.
Anyone who brags about putting a shortblock together in 2hrs.Is going to have proplems.
PSP is only worried about making as much $$$$$as he can.
Parts are steered to what makes him big money,NOT what makes power

Sure you don't want to hear it.
thats why I'll tell you

this the second motor Im getting him to build and the last one held together just fine made 453rwhp and when i sold the car the new owner made 539rwhp and still runnning strong.

Take a look at the shops who hold records, and cars that actually go fast and win....call them up and have them do your work. Simple as that. Who ever it is, that is the easiest way to pick your builder.

89LXBlack 11-15-2004 10:13 PM

Well said!

2tone_93gt 11-15-2004 10:50 PM

i disagree.. u look at some shops..their race cars are backed by big companies who pay for other shops outside of the one sponsored to have motors built, cars tuned and chassis built..
so i dont agree totally with that statement.

:tup

toofast4u 11-15-2004 11:23 PM

not again

Paul, who do you know that holds records???only underweight
cars that go fast?come on now!
again your on here at 4:30 pm posting don't you have any work to do in the shop?
Is it that slow?you should spend less time posting and find somthing to do.
Picking a builder!!well then,no one you know builds anything, its bought from Bennett or beatty and woods.but there ok for bolt ons.

PLEASE don't come on here and indierctly ask people to call you.
It really sounds desperate.Act like a bussiness owner and stop posting like a member.

What would the real STEEDA think

IT REALLY-REALLY SOUNDS DESPERATE :Weird:

This post totally comes across as personally motivated with nothing but attacks and speculation. I looked at Paul's post and it's perfectly sound advise and everyone has their own opinions. Why are you attacking someone like this? Do you believe it makes you sound like a credible and respectible individual to act like this on a public forum?

By your tone and manner and lack or professionalism I could speculate on your occupation and intellgence level. But as a decent human being and respectable member of the community I will just give you enough rope to hang yourself instead.

Or maybe you're just a troll?

As far as the Admin's are concerned, Paul and his conduct here at CMOC seems far from desperate. If he'd like to have his company and contact information in his signature, that's not a problem.

Futhermore, I think that the work Steeda performs speaks for itself.

We chose D'Sousa Performance to build our 2005 MILD 2 WILD motor project for 1FUN TOY, our own shop demo/show car. Very helpful on the phone and had a very genuine interest to become part of our project. Glad to have Joe's support, and wish him all the best!

Cheers!

My only experience with that shop is when he harvested my email address from another board and then spammed me with email.

I believe that to be highly immoral and won't deal with someone like that. Not to mention it violates the CAN-SPAM act.

Good choice, few people have the experience this guy has, and fewer have had his achievements. He was a big help to me with my clutch tune up. :tup
