Edelbrock performer rpm II

I have read up on the edelbrock intakes and that one would be great for a blower system, rpm design is for 1500-7000 on that manifold. I am going with a rpm intake as well but the II is just a bit to much for what i need. Plus i dont really like the design over the older style.
I have not tried it myself but do a google search and there are tons of sites that have compared then to rpmI and other brands than edelbrock and gotten substantial hp increase using the rpmII with both with n/a applications and f/i.

Hope that helps

I have the RPM and it is works great. I guess it all depends on what mods are in your future as to which on to get. I think the RPM II run about $100 US more than the the RPM.

Its a great intake for larger cubic inch NA engines like a 347 or even a higher reving smaller cube 302. It has higher RPM capability. I have the Peformer RPM on my NA 302 with Heads cam and intake , I swapped it out for my ported Cobra. It made the same power as the cobra and it was box stock except for a light clean up on the ends of the lowers runners. The RPM II is supposed to surpass the RPM in the higher rpm range and the tests have shown it. It should be great with a blower because of its larger cross sectional runners. You cant go wrong with any of the Edelbrock intakes. I would also look at the Holley Systemax to.....however they tend to need the lower modified to get the ports to line up with most aftermarket heads. I wanted the Holley but I did not have the rpm capability or cubes to take full advantage of it. With a blower setup it doesn't matter to much because the air is forced in not pulled in. I would say the Edelbrock Performer RPM or the RPM II would be very good choices for a blower car but if you wanted to go a little further I'd say the Holley is the way to go.
