A/F on modded 04 cobras

Has anyone installed a catback, midpipe and Cai on an 04 Cobra? Did the A/F change enough to require a tune?

Nice Setup

My first mod's were an O/R X Pipe, Catback and Steeda CAI. The A/F was fine and nothing to be concerned about. The CAI does lean out the mixture a tad, but they are on the rich side from the factory. I will hunt for my dyno graph.

However, with a custom tune you can fine tune the mixture and pickup a good amount of power at the same time.

If you have any other questions, let me know.

12" K&N, Bassani X and a Magnaflow cat bac last summer...not tune required...and ran a respectable 12.59 with those mods. Now I"ve added the 2.8 pulley so I will need a tune...Paul what the release date on the X-II?

About another month or so....stop by our booth and we may have something to show off :tup

Cool, I should be okay to drive it until I can get Paul to get her on the dyno.

as long as you run the dinner plate (stock pulley) you will fine...once you change that out though it needs a tune real bad...and a good tune too...I've read too many posts from guys running lean and melting #8 piston from crappy tunes.

Cooling mods are just as important on these cars....the main killer is heat...I got a wicked bad ass list of the ultimate in cooling systems for these cars :chacha:
