Fuel pressure gauge
Looking to hook up my fuel pressure gauge in my a pillar but i have been told by many i will have to get an electronic one if i wanna pass all track regulations. Is there an way i can use a mechanical gauge inside the car legally?

yes... you'd have to run a isolator, and it has to be at least 6" in front of the firewall....
is there some reason you don't want to run an electronic gauge? |
Not sure about legalities of running a mechanical gauge in the car at the track or something but pure safety I would not run it inside the car.
Spend the 300+ and get the electronic one. Worth it 100% |
Since I do know the legalities of it, you need to order part # ATM-5282, available from summit racing for $94.88
that will allow you to run oil, fuel or coolant gauges in the car and be NHRA legal |
Just get the electric one. Much easier and just as good IMO
