Just a Oil question

I just bought a 2003 mach 1 with 50,000kms and the guy who owned first tryed telling me I should not use synthetic only normal oil. is this guy crazy or what I use mobile 1 even in my minivan as well as all other cars, has anybody heard anything that would be a bad idea with this?

Since I just happened to be browsing through the owners manual on the 5.0L the other night (yeah...geek...go ahead and say it ), I remember reading that it recommends both synthetic and super premium motor oil. My other car has a 3.5 HO with 288,000 kms (can I mention it in this forum if its a mopar? ) and I've always used regular oil.

I'd be curious to hear what you guys have experienced...synthentic versus real oil.

it all depends on preference really it's not a huge deal. personally i run a full synthetic unless i'm breaking in an engine.. im posting a quick reference for you.

quick notes: might as well stick with synthetic.
