Whipple or Eaton with a stock air box......I do not think anyone here remembers what a stock 03 Cobra blower sounds like :LOL:
And it has been so damn long, I forget what my whipple sounds like. They are calling it a "screw type" supercharger and not twin screw......I believe Lysholm and Eaton are now one, or using the same rotors or housings or something....so I am very curious as to what blower it is using. The Ford GT is said to have a whipple on it...no one knows for sure (or i have been sleeping - other than what it says on whipples site) and this sounds identicle to it.....let's hope. :chacha: Now decision time comes....try and afford one of these or just put a 5.3 Big Bore in my 03 :banghead: |
The Ford GT is also a 5.4 aluminum block. Does this car have the same block. The Ford GT uses a whipple blower. Would be nice as a crate engine.

The ford GT blower LOOKS like an eaton....whipple says it is a whipple...no one really knows. The Ford GT motor is avail as a crate motor from a few places...it is like 40K USD :cry2: |
All that is for sure about the blower is that they are Lysholm Rotors. Eaton or Whipple case.

Lysholm and eaton are one now are they not??? I thought i heard that somewhere but with tons of info flying around it is hard to keep track. Is it 2.3L?? |
