Redline Water Wetter???

Okay so I bought some Redline water wetter for the Cobra...was told to put into the intercooler over flow to help cool it by up to 20 degrees...

anyone use this stuff before?
should I be taking coolant out...and how much?
The directions on the bottle suck...it says you
can run just water and water wetter in the cooling system
dont think I want to do that.
Any input would be appreciated.
thanks

Does this help:

Water Wetter is a unique wetting agent for cooling systems which reduces coolant temperatures by as much as 30°F. This liquid product can be used to provide rust and corrosion protection in plain water for racing engines, which provides much better heat transfer properties than glycol - based antifreeze. Or it can be added to new or used antifreeze to improve the heat transfer of ethylene and propylene glycol systems. Designed for modern aluminum, cast iron, copper, brass, and bronze systems.

You beat me to the answer. :) I just found that. I had read about it but did not want to write it unless I knew for sure.

Should cool you down a tad. probally 5 degrees of so. give it a try. Peace.

Would running your engine so much colder not affect performance? These engines are designed to operate at a certain temperature aren't they?

My car is boosted...and Heat is the worse thing for boost...the cooler the better for s/c cars...

Eric!

I run it in my car ..... works OK
The best one I found was called 30Below or 40Below ( can't remember exactly) But this stuff worked awesome.
Either one works and you can add it to your cooling system with the antifreeze.
I'm gonna need some as well when we get her running again!!

OK I remember It is 40 Below by Pro-Blend great stuff but kinda pricy!!!
