Owned Both cars (still own the cobra)

Really Depends on what your doing with the car, Loved my mach to death, really easy to drive and loved the shaker. Great for driving around town and cruising, great at the track with the soild axle as well, car really hooked well. Cobra's also good to drive and the eaton sounds great, good all around driver but if your in to Drag racing the irs is a bit of a pain in the ass.

If i had my time back i might keep my Mach and throw a vortech or novi on her and go blasting around. Either way you can really make a bad choice with either car.

Wow...This thread is kind of old!! I decided to buy a 1989 Mustang GT convertible since I have some additions to do on my house this summer but still wanted to have a bit of fun but I have not forget the idea of owning one of them eventually...The Cobra would probably be my choice since I kind of like the convertible thing now that I own one... which is not available an option on a Mach...

Thanks for the imput guys.:tup

My vote is for the Cobra as well...I do like the Mach's though.

Don't mean to hijack but if anyone knows of an 03-04 Cobra coupe for sale let me know...Interested in red, black or orange in that order.

Thanks!

go Termie

I'm 52 yrs old, and have had Mustangs since I was 19
Including some classics like a 67 fastback 390 car (can you say Bullitt ?)... a 70 Mach1 351C-Hurst 4spd - 73 Coupe with 351C doin low 12's - 73 Mach1 w/ 460 drag engine, low 11's - Votech'd 94GT bult for road racing, etc etc

In August I found a 03 SVT Cobra with 31KMs on it in perfect condition at a local Ford Dealer for $18,000..... of course I bought it !.... and it is without a doubt the fastest most fun Mustang I have ever owned or driven !
I even got a 4 year Ford Warranty on it (for cheap).

Go Terminator !
The "get yer yaya's out" factor is unbeleivable !

and NOTHING beats the sound of an Eaton S/C my friend
