They're here!!!!!
All right!
I can confirm that as of Tuesday, Terrebonne Ford (450.968.9000) has 2 Mustang. A V6 and a black GT. And Papin Ford (in Repentigny, 450.654.3322) has 1 black GT. :tup |
I hear that London Ontario has received a GT as well. :tup
|
They sure have arrived!
Here at Whiteoak Ford in Mississauga we received 10. Two are sold, but the rest are stock - 4 V6 and 4 GT. We got in Redfire, Torch Red, Black, Silver and of course Screaming Yellow. They are sweet cars! Ford sure got them right! |
I'll be at your dealership on Saturday anyways, might as well have a look.
|
Formula Ford in Pickering has them as well. Must go take a look :)

Ed Learn Ford in St.Catharines has 2 of them... one black and one red. I sat in the black one today. Both are GT's. Both are sold already.
The balck one stickered for $39K It was automatic. Very nice. this is the first time i have seen one in person. cool!! |
One of the 2 Ford dealers here in Kelowna got 2 GTs in last day or so. One was silver and is sold/gone. Still had a Black GT 5 speed today. Didn't drive it, but did sit in it and started it up. It looks better in the "real" than in pictures. Did like the short shifter and way it falls right into your hand. Nice seating position - better than the '99-'04s. Overall, I liked it OK but don't think I would give up my Bullitt (with only 14,615kms on it) plus cash for a new '05 GT. I is definitely a bigger car and I think it would feel bigger to drive also. I hope to drive one in the future but I'm not really seriously interested in buying one. The one I saw was available and I figure will be gone by Saturday nite. One other middle-aged guy looking at it as I was. :dunno

Dasilva racing picked up their 05 on Thursday, and their already modifying it. :tup
|
I saw one at the Ford dealership here in burlington..
:tup I don't like the rims and tire.. but everything else is sweet. |
Drove a GT at White Oak this weekend. All I can say is that while I'm not a fan of the looks, it is a vast improvement over any previous GT for driveability and refinement of handling.

There is the family resemblance and it has the same name, otherwise EVERYTHING else is different.
Appearance is a personal preference, but the car gets lots of attention where ever you go, and has been very well received. The Fox base idiocycracies are all gone. It is much more a "refined stallion" versus the "wild horse" that Mustang has been in the past. However, they will still kick - only harder! |
I dropped by whiteoak today to check em out, they're very nice, though I'm not sure the styling is an improvement over the 04's, one of the sales guys started it up for us and gave her some revs....sounds real nice :tup
