1985 Mustang GT wiring help!

3 Attachment(s)
I have some wiring woes in my '85 Mustang GT that need to be straightened out. I am going to hook up a stereo and I have located what I believe to be the original stereo harnesses. I'm not sure what the previous owner was thinking but he has used the constant 12v (yellow wire) to tap into the horn for power? Cause whenever I plug together the two clips in picture #3, the horn stays on until I unplug them. What is the deal with this, like where did Ford draw power from for the stereo in the first place? I have all new stereo harnesses to put in the car for my new stereo, I just need to know where to draw power from (definetly not from the horn!). Also, is the ground wire just grounded somewhere near the stereo or does it go somewhere else?

Picture #1: Just a speaker wire harness right? Kinda hacked up I know haha..

Pictures #2: Power hookup to stereo right? It is spliced into some other wires under there for some reason..

Picture #3: The harnesses that, when plugged together, cause the horn to go off until I unplug them. These are power harnesses for the stereo right?

P.S. I know this has nothing to do with engines but I figured it wouldn't get any attention on any of the other categories

I hate Fords wiring....It has to be the WORST EVER.
Thats one up for GM!

Your gonna have to trace some wiring, its very hard to tell since we are not there to see.
Good luck.

just a heads up, if you camera has a "macro" setting (looks like a little flower) try to use that setting on your close ups, they should turn out alot better then these ones did, if the subject is 8-16 inches away from the camera lens
