Looks good

looks killer are you going to get a tune for it as well ?
very nice and +1
nice job, can't go wrong with Steeda. Now you need a tune to go with it.
Thanks guys. It was much easier than I thought. Definite yes on the tune, just waiting for the file so I can load it into the tuner and then the car. The install directions actually say you "MUST" install the tune otherwise you risk a fuel mix that is too lean.
Standing back looking at the engine compartment I'm thinking I now need chrome strut tower caps. :D |
Looks sweet! :tup
Looks great and I'm sure with the tune it'll perform even better.
Anyone ever do the tuner without a CAI? The CAI's all indicate minimal power increase on their own so I wonder why pay the $400 if the tuner is where the power increase is coming from?
^^ Most people pay more cause it looks nicer! However a 2010 like mine apparently wont gain much cause Ford made a good intake for it, I dont know about the v6 or the gt with the new 5.0 however. Someone else I'm sure can chime in.
I don't have a new 5.0 but from what I've seen an intake and a tune can net you some good gains. There is a car on youtube that made 394hp/376trq with the Steeda CAI, a Tune and Magnaflow Axlebacks.
ohhh nice eye candy!! Thks for posting the pics!Did you install it yourself with some help?
from what I hear they are an easy install^^^^
Joint effort....me and hubby. He loves this stuff so I never have any issues asking for more mods. Snakebite is right, easy install. Very easy to take out the original parts. Then lay out all the new parts, figure out where they should be in the end result and start putting pieces together.

perfect.
