Decoding ECM's?

Can anyone help to determine what these are?
E9ZF-12A650-AA and E7SF-12A650-C1A. trying to determine which to use on my '69 EFI conversion. Thanks

computer numbers

The E9ZF-12A650-AA is out of a 89 mustang v8. The E7SF-12A650-C1A is out of a 84 thunderbird v8. If you have any more ford part numbers you are wondering about Google "ford part number decoder" and pick a web site ,it will tell you what the leters and numbers mean. Are you using a mass air or not? I don't think the tbird was H.O. in 87. however the E9ZF computer is out of a mass air 89 V8 mustang. I don't think you can tell from those numbers if the cars were auto or stick. The 3 or 4 digit bold number should. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going Mass Air, but had the 2 ECM's provided. The E9ZF is what is being used in the donor stang.

The E7SF computer, even though it is an 87 T-Bird number, is the speed-density 87/88 5.0 HO computer. The E9ZF is the 89 - 93 HO mass-air computer.

cheers
