dry cell battery...

hey guys,
i knwo i'm gonna need a new battery in the spring for the stang and was wondering if anyone has tried anything like that dry cell dyna-batt battery on a daily driver. I don't want to mount my battery in the trunk but I like the idea of loosing the weight (these things only weigh 8lbs). So if you know anything about them on daily driven cars let me know...

How come you don't want to mount it in the trunk? I have a Yellow top and for a daily driver. it's more then enough

I've got the same battery, they are great! Mine is under the hood though....no room in the trunk for it ;)

I know lots of people with trunk mount batteries....for some they work good and for others they have major charging and starting problems....i know my luck. Besides, With the ZEX kit and a trunk mount where would I put my golf clubs :P

Gotta keep room for the clubs! :tup

I'm probably going to move mine to the back for a little more room under the hood and some better weight distribution
