EGR spacers

JUst installed a nice new shiny 75mm throttle body and egr spacer. Two questions....I have seen some mustangs in magazines where they have eliminated the EGR spacer compleatly. Is this suggested in Canada or will that only work if the temps are always same? 2nd Should I run the coolent through it or just cap it off? Have seen both ways in Magazines but why or why not.

I say living in Ontario, leave it alone.Even if you can make your stang pass the e test without it,it would fail the visual,or even worse you could get pulled over by a MTO,and be fined on the spot for not having it.Not worth it in my opinion. You gain nothing by removing it anyways except a less cluttered engine bay visually.

Great thanks! I guess I'm running the coolent through!

I don't want to hijack the post but have a quick question about emmisions on vehicles passing through Ontario. Is there any cut off date where they would not charge you. Would the MTO charge someone from out of province? Thanks/paul

If you are from out of the province,i'm not sure.It could be up to the officer at the time,i don't know. But the rule of thumb is,if the vehicle was equipped with the emissions control hardware,it must be in place at the time of inspection,....even if you have been pulled over for a spot check.
