Help, real head scratcher, need opinions

OK, so if you know my posting history on this board you also know that my stang (87 5L) has been nothing but a pain in the ass for the last 3 years.
So this summer I finally had it running mint, been enjoying the car like crazy, driving it like a 5L like it should be driven. So anyways I had a rear main seal leak, no biggy seems like its something you gotta accept and live with if you have a 302. All that said this weekend i noticed that in the puddles of oil that the car drips at the bellhousing (cause of the rear main seal) there is also some green dripping, looks a whole lot like coolant but doesnt smell like it. This has me confused, the car is not smoking white and isnt overheating. I did an oil change and the oil is fine and the coolant is also as green as can be. What the hell could it be? Ill try and get a picture up tonight, car isnt down on power, it has been running hotter than usual but the weather in ottawa has been ridiculously warm and I just put in a set of BBK U/D pulleys.

Also what has me boggled is that they are leaking as to seperate liquids and not that milkshake color that you get when you HG goes.

I'd say separate leaks that are just following the same path to the ground - ie dripping off the lowest point of the bellhousing. Probably good news - at least better than milkshake oil.

^^ I was just gonna say this. Lets see some pics of the oil spill (and of the bellhousing if you can).

Could be a heater hose issue. It would dripéleak in the general area you are describing.Or the intake gasket may have a slight leak at the rear.Worth a check.

I"ll check all that tonight and throw up a picture of the puddle.

does yours have the one pieces seal or the two,, two is easier to change, as far as the green would start at the top and work down checking the intake, heads etc, could be leaking through any where,, if you can get it hot enought to build pressure , maybe put cardboard down under and see where the drips are comming from..

So what's the skinny?
