High Mileage
 

Hi i have a 1988 Lx with 169,000kms on it what oil should i use.

Use what you prefer in my opinion. As long as it has been maintained over the years properly, and the old oil looks good, stick with the regular non high mileage oils. In all reality though, that's still a baby in mileage to how old that lx is.

Yah, oils are pretty subjective, +1 on what you prefer, I think if you go with a known brand they're all pretty much the same.

I always favour full synthetic over dino oil, use Motorcraft Full synthetic.
