Holley System Max Intake Manifold

So I ordered a Holley Intake Manifold for my '92 LX 302 (105 000km, never had problem before). I got it installed by a mecanic around here specialised in old car, but he did a mistake: he installed it with the stock gasket. The car started smoking, so I went up straight to the local Ford dealership and they told me my prestone was dripping in my oil. I parked the car and ordered the right gasket. The same mechanic installed it and put new oil and prestone, and the car started smoking black cloud. I went to see one of my friends who is a specialist mechanic for Ford with more than 40 years, and he told me everything was fine, just that some prestone when in my catalyct and it need to burn to stop smoking.

Anyone have expericence with that?

Found my problem. The grand genius I hired as my first mechanics plugged all the vaccum valve in wrong place and forgot to install the PCV Valve Splashguard. Even better, he DUMPED IT !!!

Yeah, there's some people that you ask yourself if they're doing the right job...

That sucks!

I've always taken my Mustang to the same Ford dealership since 1992.
I'm sure I could find a better deal elsewhere but this dealership has always performed quality work that is done right the first time.

I've also found that the service level has actually improved over time as the service advisors and mechanics got to know both me and my Mustang.

Yeah, that why we always did, but my father insisted to give him a chance 8-)

It's not like if he was building a Lego kit, you're not supposed to have piece left when you're done, you're building an engine !
