installing shorty headers on 88 5.0l

bought a bone stock 88 lx.233*** km. on it. i have a set of MAC shorty's to put on...

what type of job is this? do a lot of my own wrenching, mostly remove/replace stuff.(no machining)

what are the better gaskets to use? bolts?

is it worth doing myself or what would a shop charge.

It's pretty much a straight forward job..... providing none of the bolts are seized up.
Basically you will need to remove a few things to get at the headers, no big deal really. If everything goes smooth, it would take you an afternoon from start to finish.
Here is a few links for you.
