do you think my stock fuel regulator is not good anymore ? and what kind of problem i can have whit a low pressure ... a ran all last summer and i never had a trouble (i did nt know that my pressure was low like that)

you run the risk of leaning out and blowing a headgasket with low fuel pressure. it very well could be that your regulator has started to take a dump, or even your fuel pump. i say swap your reg with a buddies to see if it makes a difference, if it doesn't it's the pump, if it does it's the rgulator...

low pressure

Last summer my 99gt started to hesitate(40,000kms) first thing in the morning. Two months ago while the car was stored I went to start it and it pooped out on me. I had to replace the fuel pump. The Ford dealer wanted almost 800.00 all told. OUCH :banghead: :laughhard

How much fuel pressure do you have with the car running and the vacuum line to the regulator disconnected?

P.Meister 04-14-2005 09:15 PM

DeltaP is 39.5psi and on your gauge, if you are boosted you will see an increase of 1psi for almost 1lb of boost.

If you are falling below deltap, you have a problem.

What do you mean by DeltaP...never heard that lingo before
