anyone know a place where i can get my flywheel turned?

the place i use to go to, back a few years ago is no longer there. might have moved, but i knew them by location not by name.


any help? any place in durham?

I tried Karbelt.. they gave me the wrong address for a place in scarb .. :banghead:

PartSource does rotors, not sure if they do flywheels or not :)

guess i'll try napa or something like that.. since they are close to me..

Driveline 2000 in Scarborough on Midwest Road. Down the street from my shop. I dont remember the exact address for Driveline, but they can do it.

damm.. wish I had read this earlier..

I got it done at Stephen's Machine Shop in oshawa ..

Cost was $89, that's machined, removed the pin's and reinserted them ..

No actually they can't. Terry got rid of his machine .... he hated the smell of it....LOL.

Jay, next time....look into Ajax Engines. I've heard some good things about them.

What does that do for your car? maybe i need to do it aswell.

Makes sure the flywheel is perfectly clean and smooth for optimal clutch grab.

whenever you are installing a new clutch into your car (any car)... Getting your flywheel turned is a MUST..

have you ever seen your brake rotor get turned? (same idea. only one side not both)


as you use your clutch, and it wears down, it will leave marks on your flywheel. if you installed a new clutch without getting it turned.. those grove marks will eat your new clutch and reduce it's life span remarkably. thus, making it a MUST to do.
