Anybody rolling their Mustang straight pipe? What are the ups and downs? I'm not satisfied with the sound of the Dynomax's. I know I could just shop for a louder exaust, but this is the cheapest way to go!

If you are looking for a cheap way of doing exhaust, get a pair of muffelrs like Flowmaster or similar, and go to a local exhaust shop, and see if they ill install them for cash deal.
Done this actually last friday after work. Had a Flowmaster put on my '08 F 150 for 40 bucks, and that was including a foot of pipe to make up the difference from the factory "log" muffler LOL, a clamp with hanger, and welded.

Having no mufflers is only gonna take away back pressure in which you need to keep that bottom end torque, plus for the fact it just sounds like un controlled noise!

Agreed. Straight pipe makes your car sound like a tractor.

I've never heard a Mustang on straight pipes. Hmm, to bad - I would have thought it would sound more like a race car. The vettes and bmw's racing ALMS don't have mufflers and they sound AMAZING. A little loud for street driving but amazing none the less. Agreed with 1LOW on backpressure though - you don't want to loose anymore low end torque.

Yeah I am not a fan of straight pipes at all. Sounds just like the car I drove when I was sixteen, except I couldn't even afford the straight piece of pipe to replace the stock mufflers, so I took a crowbar and a hammer to them.....it was crazy loud, and I was so cool!!

I'm not a fan of muffler deletes either. IMO you need a muffler to tune the sound and make it appealing to the ear.
