mustang upper intake and valve cover removal
 

hi i wanted to take out and paint my upper intake and valve covers for my 5.0 notch. is there any tips you could give me? anything i NEED to know before doing this? thanks.

Make sure that you take off the two bolts for the upper intake that are under the 5.0 HO plate ... :tup

It's a very straight forward job.Once you remove the air intake,you can work your way to the throttle body,egr spacer,upper intake plenum cover,vacuum lines,and hoses,ects,then bolts to the upper plenum.
The valve covers are straight forward too.Once the upper plenum is off,the bolts that hold the covers on will be easy to get too,undo them,then lift them off.
