Plug gap?

Hey all!! I am putting iridium plugs in my 88 lk running 14 deg timing any suggestions on the best plug gap? Oh, it only has a flowmaster catback and a cone filter for power mods so far, if it makes a difference.
Thanx :3:

Stock gap, I'm pretty sure it's .44.

I read on another site that it was 38-42 so I set them at 40 but the ones I pulled were set to 62!!!!!! :poke:

Think there .54 for stock applications.

Were they worn? As a plug wears the gap will increase due to heat etc.....I'm not positive about the gap, I thought it was around .44, it could be higher as 89lx said, but I still don't have my car back from being painted yet   :bullshit: :hissy: :hissy:  so I can't check for sure, does your car not have the emm. decal?

no unfortunately it is missing the decal and the owners manual says refer to the decal!!! The old plugs looked to be in good shape the regular deposits on them, it revs a bit better now (still had original 88 wires!!) :thumb1:
