Price for a 5.0?
 

Looking at a 5.0 out of an 88 Lincoln. I need it for my 67. It's only $150, but has 180000KM on it, and I'm not too familiar with these engines.. The problems I see are that I'd need to upgrade to MAF, perhaps do a rebuild if I plan on doing anything substantial to the engine. Whereas if I find a 89+ 5.0 donor (which is proving impossible without paying for a certifiable car) I could steal engine, 5spd, computer, wiring, rad, battery, etc, etc, etc.. What do you guys think/

If I were you I would hold out to find a wrecked 89+ 5.0, you would be amazed at how much money you'll rack up with all the upgrades you'll need with computer, MAF ect.

Yeah, that was my train of thought, plus I'd get the fuel pump, etc, etc, MAYBE be able to part out a few things and gain a couple hundred back.. Be nice to have wiring, cooling, etc, all in one little package that I can steal from. :D
